CORE COMPETENCIES AND SERVICES

APLANA has advanced competencies in SFA/CRM solutions; BPM automation; Workflow and EDMS; data management solutions; Mobile/PDA development; as well as in financial, manufacturing and telecom domain areas.

Technology focus is .NET; J2EE/J2ME; Oracle; IBM WebSphere/Lotus technologies. Most of our recent projects are implemented based on open standards and web-services technologies. Aplana employs visual modeling tools to produce detailed descriptions of the future system functionality in order to better define the requirements. Prototyping is also used to provide intermediate versions for user interface, functionality and business logic of the system.

High Effectiveness and Development Productivity. Aplana Software repeatedly shows the high efficiency rates among Russian service companies. Flexible ODC resources allocation model. Aplana's key customers are offered a unique delivery model - “dynamic development center", where advantages of a long-term cooperation are combined with flexibility of the project model. For customers it means that managing Aplana’s development team does not require extra resources for ODC establishment and operation but allows for using all advantages of permanent collaboration. This model is already approved with a number of customers and partners, including GE and GRT. At the beginning of the engagement, Aplana builds a core team. Then staff training programs are kicked off, along with long-term joint resource and workload planning. During the project, the core team stays in close communication with the customer and works to transfer the customer's corporate culture and standards to the entire project team.

Mature customer relationship processes. In order to develop deep customer relationships, Aplana works to provide its clients with a clear view into the company's processes through transparent communications and real-time information exchanges.
